ENCINITAS — The Lux Art Institute offers Family Day on Dec. 8 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with free studio tours, live music from The Donnis Trio, refreshments and hands-on art workshops for children. Inside the Lux studio, visitors can view the work of Italy-based painter Alan Feltus and view the painting he completed during his four-week residency.
