Encinitas Union School District trustees will pursue an offer from the city of Encinitas to purchase the Pacific View Elementary School property, according to a district staff member on March 21.

The district board met at 2:30 p.m. March 21 to consider a last-ditch, confidential bid for the long-closed school site. The City Council announced its plans to submit the bid at its March 19 meeting.
