ENCINITAS: Learn photo, basket-making skills March 5 at garden

ENCINITAS — The San Diego Botanic Garden offers two classes for residents March 5. From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., learn to capture photos using high-dynamic range techniques with instructor Bob Bretell. HDR is a photography technique that well-suited for any subject matter including flowers, portraits, architecture and still life. The cost is $62 for members and $75 for non-members. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., learn how to make succulent wreaths with instructors from the San Diego Botanic Garden. Students should bring small clippers or scissors to class.
