Our region’s winter rains have put us ahead of our yearly rainfall average in San Diego, and even though we’re not quite through with winter yet, hints of spring are beginning to emerge as poppies and other native flowers start to bloom. In the spirit of spring, Carlsbad takes center stage for this month’s events as the city’s flower and strawberry fields ramp up their offerings.
