Local household bills pricier than U.S. average, doxo research finds

California is the second most expensive state for average household bills, with Encinitas, Carlsbad, Solana Beach and Del Mar cracking the top 100 for most expensive in the state, according to statistics released Aug. 3 by consumer financial management company doxo.
