ENCINITAS — The Encinitas Preservation Association will host two historical bus tours Sept. 28, on which attendees can visit and learn about 40 historical points of interest throughout the city. Each ticket supports preservation efforts for The Boathouses, a local landmark. The first tour runs from 9 a.m. to noon, and the second runs from 1 to 4 p.m. The buses will depart from the Encinitas Civic Center, 505 S.
