ENCINITAS — Lux Art Institute’s Studio Series presents an in-depth discussion with artist-in-residence Jarmo Makila on April 1. The event starts with a wine reception from 5:30 to 6 p.m., followed by the discussion from 6 to 7 p.m. Makila will address themes of his large-scale paintings.
