ENCINITAS — The Encinitas Library Gallery features Liquid Light, an exhibit of North Coast artist Donna Rebecca Schichler’s work, through June. An opening reception is set for 1-4 p.m. June 6 at the Encinitas Library Gallery. The exhibit is free and open to the public, and includes Schichler’s collection of textured art, which is inspired by patterns in nature. Schichler creates each piece using a mixture of media, including digital tools, paint, photography, sea fans, leaves and recycled glass. A clear resin finish gives each work a liquid luster.
