ENCINITAS: Garden has special offer for military through Sept. 7

ENCINITAS — The San Diego Botanic Garden invites active-duty military, National Guard and Reserve members and their families to take advantage of the final two weeks of the Blue Star Museum program. The garden is offering free admission to military members through Labor Day, Sept. 7. The garden participates in the Blue Star Museum program, a partnership among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense and museums across the country. For admission, military members must show their active military ID card from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, National Guard or Reserve.
