The San Dieguito Union High School District’s parent access portal was back online as of Monday, Aug. 19, after the district worked last week to restore security when an attempted malware attack was detected.

There was no data breach, according to the district’s updates to the community. Student enrollment and registration processes were extended. Schools are back in session for the fall beginning Aug. 27.

The attempted attack, which occurred Aug. 9, was directed at San Dieguito’s Aeries Parent Portal.

Updates are available online at www.sduhsd.net.

District campuses include San Dieguito High School Academy, Sunset High School, Oak Crest Middle School and Diegueño Middle School in Encinitas; La Costa Canyon High School in south Carlsbad; Earl Warren Middle School in Solana Beach; and Torrey Pines High School in Carmel Valley; among other schools in the region.
