ENCINITAS — Encinitas is gearing up for a night of spooky fun as the Encinitas 101 MainStreet Association hosts its 23rd Annual Safe Trick-or-Treat on Friday, October 31, from 5 to 8 p.m.
Thousands of costumed kids and families will take over downtown Encinitas along South Coast Highway 101, from Encinitas Boulevard to K Street, where local shops will stay open late to hand out candy. Sponsored by Lazy Acres Market, the event also features live music by Bucket Ruckus, games and Halloween activities in The Lumberyard Courtyard hosted by the 101 Artists Colony, and a festive pumpkin display outside SRF Books & Gifts. Families can also stop by the new Pacific View Arts Center for free kids’ crafts and parking.
