Oceanside CA— The Taste of Oceanside is bringing back the Taste Trolley service for “foodie loving” attendees. The 3rd Annual Taste of Oceanside, presented by Mossy Nissan Oceanside, will occur on Saturday, October 15 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., 35 restaurants, breweries and wineries offering delectable samples of their food and beverages. Live entertainment will also be enjoyed throughout the venue, provided by Jim Wells, Jeff Johnson, Baja Blues Boys, Cesar Barros and Vic Moraga.
Taste of Oceanside was a huge success last year. “Over 800 people came to celebrate favorite and new emerging downtown Oceanside restaurants located within a 15 block area of our city,” commented Rick Wright, Executive Director of MainStreet Oceanside. “This year, we have 8 new restaurants participating and many of them will dazzle your taste buds”. Furthermore, we have local breweries offering local craft beer, so Taste of Oceanside being the best tasting event in Oceanside will not disappoint this year. New this year, we are opening check in at 1:00pm, but tastings begin at 2:00pm and the trolley will begin shuttling at 1:30pm.
One thousand Taste of Oceanside commemorative event forks have been ordered and will be handed out to each attendee from event sponsor Green Oceanside. The uniquely labeled Taste of Oceanside Fork actually serves a big purpose at this and last year’s event. They eliminate over 20,000 plastic utensils from being added to our local landfill at every Taste of Oceanside event!

There are a limited number of tickets available. Food tasting tickets are only $25; Food and beverage tasting tickets are $35. If there are any remaining tickets, add $5.00 on the day of the event.
