Oceanside CA— San Diego Middle School Division 2 Surf Teams were at Oceanside South Jetty for a back to back weekend of surfing competition. South Jetty was a good 2 to 3 foot with offshore conditions. A little different from the day before with a little more wind to texture the waves but not enough to affect the conditions.
Great performance once again by the Oceanside Middle School Surf Team to pull out an Overall Team win with a total score of 158. Oceanside took the win in Boys Longboard, Girls Longboard and Girls Shortboard. Calavera Hills took the win the Boys Shortboard and Valley took the win in the Bodyboad Division.
Thank you to Sharp Eye Surfboards that came to the event fully stocked with demo boards. Check them out and the amazing deals they are offering our SSS kids, coaches and parents. Thanks to Sticky Bumps for supplying the wax and Surface Sun Systems for the sunscreen.
