The Knights of Columbus San Luis Rey de Francia Council #3162 announces the 3rd Annual MSgt Tuputala (Tala) Paulo Memorial Charity Golf Tournament, scheduled for Friday, Aug. 29, at the Marine Memorial Golf Course on Camp Pendleton.
This event offers a day of golf, camaraderie and community impact, with proceeds benefiting Mission San Luis Rey Parish, Semper Fi & America’s Fund, and Oceanside’s Police and Firefighters Associations.
The tournament, a qualifier for the Randy Jones Invitational Semi-Final, will feature a four-player scramble format with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Participants can participate in events including a putting contest, ball drop, and a silent auction. Golfers of all skill levels, along with sponsors and volunteers, are invited to join the event, which honors the legacy of Master Sgt. Tuputala (Tala) Paulo, a 26-year retired Marine and dedicated Knight who exemplified charity, unity and fraternity.
Those interested in participating, sponsoring or donating can go to kofc3162.org/golf for registration, sponsorship details and downloadable brochures. Early registration is encouraged to secure a spot.
