Carlsbad Community Church Celebrates 90 Years

Carlsbad CA– On Sunday, November 16th, starting at 9 am, the Carlsbad Community Church will celebrate her 90th anniversary – “90 in God’s Strength”.
It all began on May 21st, 1922, when Miss Sally Troutman and Miss Marion Holmes started a Sunday School. The charter for the Carlsbad Union Church was signed by 40 founding members on November 16th, 1924. The ground breaking for the current Sanctuary on Harding Street took place on July 3rd, 1966. In the fall of 1989, the groundbreaking began for the Worship Center.
