Carlsbad CA— Splash Bash returns to Alga Norte Aquatic Center on Saturday, June 25. This event gives participants a chance to play on giant inflatables, walk on water in giant water balls, dive off of diving boards and dance to music under the lights by the pool. The events is from 6 to 9 p.m. and tickets are $8 per person and ages 3 and under are free.
The City of Carlsbad will offer more family-friendly summer events at the Alga Norte Aquatic Center this summer.
Float ‘n Flick on Saturday, July 9, is an event for those who love both movies and the pool. Attendees of all ages can bring an air mattress and enjoy the movie, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs (rated PG), under the stars in Alga Norte Aquatic Center’s heated pool. The event begins at 7 p.m. and movie begins at dusk. Tickets are $8 per person and kids ages 3 and under are free.
Aloha Plunge on Saturday, Aug. 20, is an event where attendees can enjoy island themed pool games and activities. As the sun goes down, finish the night off with a special presentation of the movie, Tarzan (rated PG) on the giant outdoor movie screen. The event begins at 5 p.m. and movie begins at dusk. Tickets are $10 per person and kids ages 3 and under are free.
Alga Norte Aquatic Center is located, 6565 Alicante Road and is open seven days a week. Daily entrance to the pool is $5 per adult, $3 per child or $2 per spectator. Monthly passes are available.
