Oceanside CA— Experience the weekly Wild West Summer events at Mission Marketplace every Tuesday from July 12 through August 30 with live band music, children’s crafts, prize giveaways, cooking contests and more activities. Starting on July 12, mark your calendars for eight consecutive Tuesdays from 6 – 8 p.m. for the FREE Wild West Summer at Mission Marketplace, located at 471 College Boulevard in Oceanside.
Two of the hottest area bands will perform on alternating Tuesdays at Wild West Summer, the Sundance Band on July 12 and 26 and August 9 and 23, and La Huella Nortena on July 19 and August 2, 16 and 30. The Sundance Band and La Huella Nortena will get people dancing with their high energy music ranging from Country, Classic Rock, Blues to the hottest Mexican beats. Talented student musicians from Oceanside School of Rock will be the opening act for the bands on July 26 and August 30.
People can show off their culinary talent for the opportunity to win prizes in the weekly Best of the West Cooking Contests, each to feature a favorite summer food:
