
Carlsbad CA— Join Carlsbad Republican Women (CRWF) on Tuesday, September 27th, to celebrate the club’s community involvement and support. CRWF will honor two worthy local organizations, with significant cash donations, and for the 11th straight year, will award cash grants to the San Diego Young Republicans club and to five College Republican organizations!
Joining the celebration will be CA Assemblyman Rocky Chavez, speaking on the importance of community and supporting our youth. He will stress the need for active, involved citizens who helping to shape their communities for the future. Assemblyman Chavez will also participate in the grants presentation to the Republicans groups.
Kiana Bright, General Manager, will accept the donation for Fisher House Camp Pendleton, a “home away from home” for families of wounded warriors. Vanessa Hayslich, Development Coordinator, and Heidi Cramer, Director of Major Giving, will accept the donation for Palomar Health Foundation Forensic Health Services, which serves local adult/child victims of violence through the Child Abuse Program and Sexual Assault Response Team.
Those Republican organizations receiving grants include College Republicans from Cal State San Marcos, Point Loma Nazarene University, San Diego State, UCSD, and USD, and the San Diego Young Republicans.
Carlsbad Republican Women Federated general meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of the month at the Green Dragon Tavern and Museum, 6115 Paseo del Norte, Carlsbad, CA 92011.
