Fallbrook CA- The Sheriff’s Department is asking the public’s help with identifying an individual believed responsible for the sexual assault of a Fallbrook resident on April 23, 2014.
At approximately 8:30 a.m., a woman was jogging along a path in the vicinity of Lake Shore Park. She had her two-year-old child with her in a stroller. An unidentified male with a knife jumped out from behind some bushes, gained control, and sexually assaulted her. After several minutes, he fled on foot in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described as follows:
Race: Caucasian, possibly Hispanic
Sex: Male
Complexion: Tanned
Height: 6′ 1″ – 6′ 2″
Age: Mid 30s to 40
Build: Heavy with ‘beer belly’
Hair: Dark brown or black and close-cropped
Facial Hair: Neatly trimmed full beard and mustache.
His beard was noted to be cut high on the neck
Clothing: Black short-sleeved t-shirt with holes and
black ‘work pants’
The investigation into this matter is just beginning, and more may be released at a later date. Sheriff’s extra patrols will be conducted in the area.
