Escondido CA– An woman died, Friday, from injuries sustained in a fire at 3829 Violet Glen, The woman, whose next of kin has yet to be notified, was a 76-year-old widowed Caucasian female who resided in Escondido.
On June 26th, 2014, a fire broke out in her home and she was transported to Palomar Medical Center, she was then transferred to UCSD Medical Center. She was diagnosed with smoke inhalation and burn injuries. Her condition deteriorated and her death was subsequently pronounced at 7:41p.m., on Friday, June 27th. The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Escondido Fire Department.
