Oceanside CA– Oceanside Police are requesting assistance locating two assault suspects.
On Monday, 7/21, at approximately 21:00, an Oceanside business owner observed two unknown white males attempting to remove three surfboards from the roof rack of his vehicle.
The victim is a disabled USMC veteran in a wheelchair and runs a business which helps disabled veterans and children with service dogs and surfing.
The victim confronted the suspects and was attacked and thrown from his wheelchair. The suspects then made off with the surfboards in a silver Toyota 4 -runner.
Two boards were recovered nearby but were badly damaged. A third board is still missing.
Suspects:
(1) White Male , 20 – 26 years old , 5’10”, 160 lbs, Blonde “shaggy” short hair, thin build, dark colored board shorts.
(2) White Male , 20 – 26 years old , 5’11”, 175 – 180 lbs, tan complexion , brown long hair in ponytail, dark colored shorts, dark colored “Bones” skateboarding t-shirt with white lettering.
