
San Marcos CA— Last night, July 15, 2016, at about 10:02 p.m., Sheriff’s Deputies assigned to the San Marcos Station responded to a report of gunshots in the area of Bradley Park, in the city of San Marcos. Deputies searched the area but were unable to locate a victim or a crime scene.
Early this morning, at about 03:18 a.m., Carlsbad Police responded to a report of a male with several gunshot wounds in the 7200 block of Paseo Plomo, in the city of Carlsbad. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he underwent surgery and is expected to survive.
During their investigation Carlsbad Police discovered the shooting victim was shot in the city of San Marcos. It is believed the victim was shot near Bradley Park.
