Oceanside CA— Just before 6:00am, Saturday July 2, 2016, the Oceanside Police Department and Fire Department responded to reports of a single vehicle accident on Douglas Drive just south of Pala Rd.
Upon arrival, officers found a single vehicle, traveling north on Douglas had left the road and hit a tree. The vehicle sheared off the top of a landscape irrigation supply line sending a stream of water gushing over the car and across Douglas Drive.
No one was injured in the accident and the Water Department is on scene attempting to shut of the water supply. The incident is currently under investigation.
