
Oceanside CA— National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods a safer, better place to live.
National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community and provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
Neighborhoods across Oceanside will host community events with youth activities, resource booths, food vendors and visits from emergency personnel. Selected communities will preview movies that encourage healthy & positive behavior. The six locations participating in this campaign are:
• Crown Heights Resource Center,1210 Division Street -will feature ‘Zootopia’ 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
• John Landes Park, 2855 Cedar Road – Activities and food – 5:00- 8:00 p.m.
• Melba Bishop Recreation Center, 5306 North River Road – 92057 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
• Marshall Street Park/ Pool- 1404 Marshall Street – will feature ‘Lilo and Stitch’ 5:30 – 9:30 p.m.
• Joe Balderrama Park- 709 San Diego Street – will feature ‘The Good Dinosaur’ 7:00 -10:00 p.m.
• Libby Lake Park- 504 Calle Montecito – will feature ‘Zootopia’ 7:00 -10:00 p.m.
