
Oceanside CA—This afternoon, September 20, 2021 at 3:27pm, Oceanside Police received a call of a stabbing with multiple victims adjacent to Oceanside High School on Horne Street at Mission Ave. When officers arrived, they located three victims.
One female student was struck and sustained injuries to her mouth. Another female, who was not a student, sustained a life threatening injury from being stabbed in her stomach. She was transported to Scripps La Jolla for surgery. The third victim was stabbed in the arm and he was taken to Tri City Hospital for treatment. The third victim is believed to be an uninvolved pedestrian.
The suspect is identified as a male, 17 years of age and attends Oceanside high School. As of this release he is not in custody.
This incident appears to be as a result of an ongoing dispute between parties.
