 
																							Oceanside CA— In an effort to benefit the Disabled American Veteran’s Thrift Store, Waste Management and the City of Oceanside will be hosting a two-week community donation event. Through this program, Oceanside residents can easily recycle large and small items from the comfort of their home by scheduling the curbside donation pick-up through their Waste Management services.
This free event is open to Oceanside Waste Management customers only Nov. 1 – Nov. 12 on customers scheduled collection day.
This event will provide Waste Management customers in Oceanside a chance to divert large items from the landfill and help their community.
HOW: Residents may donate up to eight (8) bulky items by contacting Waste Management at 760-439-2824 to schedule the pick-up at least 2 days prior to their regular collection day.
Accepted Materials:
    Household and Office Furniture
    All clothing, shoes, accessories
    School and office supplies
    Exercise equipment
    Sporting goods
    Video game consoles
    Handheld video game systems
    Cell phones and accessories
    Televisions, computers and computer monitors
    Refrigerators, washers and dryers
    Printers, fax machines, and scanners
This program does not accept mattresses.
