Authorities responded to a bluff collapse July 13 at the west end of 10th Street in Del Mar.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to assist Del Mar lifeguards after a concerned passerby called after seeing two women walking by the bluffs just before the collapse, according to a Sheriff’s Department report.

Regional search-and-rescue personnel, along with search dogs, did not find any victims in the rubble, the report stated. Del Mar Public Works is working to remove the rubble.
