ESCONDIDO – The Escondido Creek Conservancy invites the public to share their passion for conservation this Thanksgiving by making a holiday gift for family, friends and wildlife. The group offers a wren house-building workshop Nov. 17 from 2 to 4 p.m. House wrens are small, brown and cautious. They like to raise their young in crevices and small areas away from predators. Building a wren house for the yard can bring these small birds closer to offer an opportunity to observe them as they raise their young.
