OCEANSIDE — The Friends of the Oceanside Public Library, in partnership with First Friday Art Walk, hosts local author readings and singings on June 6, July 11 and Aug. 1, from 4 to 6 p.m., along with light refreshments on the outdoor patio of Jane & Evie’s Used Books, at 323 North Coast Highway.
June 6: Jolie Tunnell, author of the popular Idyllwild Historical Mystery Series featuring “The Great Loveda Brown.”
July 11: B.L. Blanchard, author of The Good Lands Alternative History Series, including “The Peace Keeper” and “The Mother.”
Aug. 1: Courtney Deane, author of “When Happily Ever After Fails,” a contemporary romantic comedy.
First Friday Art Walk features artists and musicians at the Civic Center Plaza and Artist Alley, and runs 5 to 8 p.m., with an After Dark Concert following from 8 to 9 p.m. Art Walk is sponsored by the Oceanside Cultural District and Oceanside Public Library.
