Community connections can build newfound stability in a chaotic era. It’s with that in mind that the North Coast Current and OsideNews introduce “Neighbors,” a new section devoted to brief profiles highlighting North San Diego County residents who build on the positive aspects of community and connection.
“Neighbors” is largely based on reader recommendations. If you know people in our communities who do good works for our neighbors, have locally owned businesses, or are involved in projects and professions that help contribute to our culture at large, the North Coast Current and OsideNews appreciate your recommendations.
This new section works by sending a recommended person six questions, which the person will answer in their own words, then shared with our readers. We will also ask for two to three photos that best represent the person’s work or involvement in the community.
