OCEANSIDE — KOCT will hold its 19th annual TV luncheon fundraiser on Thursday, March 19, at Texas Roadhouse in Oceanside.
The event is scheduled from noon to 1:30 p.m. and will include a single seating for attendees. Tickets are priced at $55 per person and include a meal choice of steak, chicken or salmon, along with a beverage, side salad and a hot side dish. Organizers say the event will also feature auction items and an opportunity drawing.
The fundraiser supports KOCT, a nonprofit community television station based in Oceanside that provides local programming and public access media. The organization operates two Cox cable channels in North County: Channel 18, which focuses on arts, culture and history programming, and Channel 19, which carries education and local and statewide government coverage.
KOCT has operated for more than 40 years and offers locally produced programming, livestream broadcasts and video-on-demand content available online.
Event organizers say those who cannot attend may choose to sponsor a military family to participate in the luncheon. Additional information and tickets are available through koct.org.
