San Marcos CA— A 37 year old Hispanic male was standing at the dead-end of La Rosa Drive with other unknown males talking when shots were fired at them from north of their location. The 37 year old victim was struck one time in his left shoulder. He ran up the street and summoned the help of residents standing in front of 619 Starstone Drive.
The San Marcos Fire Department responded and treated the male at the scene. He was transported to Palomar Hospital where he received additional treatment for his injury. No one has been arrested in connection with the shooting, there is currently no suspect information and the investigation is on-going.
