Oceanside CA— Early this morning, August 23rd, 2015 at approximately 4:26 am., OPD Officers responded to the 500 block of Gold Drive to investigate a radio call referencing shots being fired in the neighborhood.
Upon their arrival, Officers were contacted by a witness who essentially said a male subject was inside one of the residences in this neighborhood with a gunshot wound.
OPD Officers entered the residence and found a 27 year-old male with a gunshot wound. The male subject was pronounced dead at the scene.
Oceanside Police Detectives were called out and are currently investigating this incident as a homicide.
