Escondido CA— On September 14. 2015 at approximately 2:05pm 31 year-old Reginald Grigsby from Oceanside was driving his Mitsubishi Montero southbound on Centre City Parkway at an unknown speed. He was preparing to enter southbound 1-15 when he veered to the left and rolled his vehicle down an embankment landing on the northbound center divide.
A 21 year-old male from Murrieta was working as a subcontractor for Cal Trans with Pacific Restoration Group a company out of Perris California. He was repairing sprinklers at the time of the collision when the vehicle struck him killing him instantly.
Mr. Grigsby was transported to Palomar Hospital with minor injures. At the hospital he was arrested 011 suspicion of Felony DUI (Drugs) and Felony Vehicular Manslaughter.
He was transported from Palomar Hospital and booked into Vista Detention Facility.
