Oceanside CA— Main Street Oceanside will once again host its annual Public Safety Night on Thursday February 4, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Oceanside Police Department, Oceanside Lifeguards, and the Oceanside Fire Department will participate with displays and giveways.
The Oceanside Police Department will set up its equipment and information booth on Tremont and Civic Center with displays of its SAFE Boat, SWAT BearCat armored vehicle, Mobile Command Vehicle, the Nissan, Beach UTV and police motorcycle.
Officers and personnel from the Resource Team, Harbor Unit, Neighborhood Policing Team, SWAT, Traffic, Crime Prevention, Explorers, Senior Volunteer Police Program, and Dispatch will be on hand to talk to visitors and answer questions about the various units.
