Carlsbad CA— On Friday March 4, the City of Carlsbad Police Department received information from the Los Angeles Police Department that two wanted murder suspects were living in the City of Carlsbad. LAPD Homicide Detectives advised Carlsbad Police Detectives that the suspects were involved in a stabbing death in the City of Los Angeles on February 20, 2016.
LAPD identified the suspects as 22 year-old Michael Lee Stotler and 22 year-old Maya Sharene Mcinnis.
At 5:50 p.m. officers and detectives located and stopped a vehicle being driven by Michael Lee Stotler in the 4600 block of Carlsbad Blvd. The passenger in the vehicle was Maya Sharene Mcinnis. Both suspects were arrested without incident and released to the custody of LAPD Homicide Detectives.
