Carlsbad CA—The City of Carlsbad is hosting two special events for this fall. Epic Teen Nights: Movie in the Park will take place Saturday, Nov. 5, from 4 to 9 p.m., at Pine Avenue Community Park. Bring a chair or a blanket for a free viewing of the movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice on the giant inflatable screen. The movie will begin at dusk. Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the event. The movie is rated PG-13. This a free event and no registration is required.
On Thursday, Dec. 15 the City of Carlsbad will host a special VIP advance screening for all ages of the new movie Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, before the film is released to the general public, at Regal 12 Carlsbad at The Shoppes at Carlsbad at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $20 and will be available for pre-sale on Nov. 5 at the Epic Teen Nights: Movie in the Park event from 4 to 9 p.m. Tickets will then go on sale online to the general public beginning 7 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 7.

Walk the red carpet and be treated like a VIP at one of this year’s highly anticipated movies. The event check-in for ticket holders will start at 6:30 p.m. All attendees must check in at the City of Carlsbad booth inside of Regal Carlsbad 12 by 7:25 p.m. The movie begins at 7:30 p.m. Seating is first come, first served. This is an all-ages event. This movie is not yet rated.
There will be a costume contest prior to the movie for those dressed in Star Wars gear.
