Oceanside CA— A little rain didn’t dampen the spirits during Dia de los Muertos, 2016 at the Mission San Luis Rey. The event was kept alive thanks to a group headed by Cathy Nykiel, Dave Mears, of Legendary Event Management, along with Chema and Manuel Navarro of Por Siempre Car Club. Thousands enjoyed the spectacle of Katrina’s, traditional Hispanic folk music and dance, floral altars mixed in with a classic car show and shopping Mercado.
