Oceanside CA—The annual Dia de los Muertos, event at the Mission San Luis Rey, in Oceanside, continues to grow in popularity with thousands attending the celebration on Sunday. The event was kept alive thanks to a group headed by Cathy Nykiel, Dave Mears, of Legendary Event Management, along with Chema and Manuel Navarro of Por Siempre Car Club.
Among the attractions were Katrina’s, traditional Hispanic folk music and dance, floral altars mixed in with a classic car show, shopping Mercado and carnival games.
