Oceanside CA— The Brother Benno’s Auxiliary is preparing for the 22nd annual fundraiser to benefit the Brother Benno’s Foundation.The luncheon will be begin at noon, Saturday December 1st at the Westin/Sheraton Carlsbad Resort and Spa.
The non-profit began 35 years ago as a soup kitchen and grew into a multifaceted social services agency run mostly by volunteers to help bring the area’s working poor and homeless out of poverty.Brother Benno’s serves breakfast 6 days a week as well as distributes food and clothing.Other services are offered along with a 12 step recovery program in seven recovery homes.
