Oceanside CA—The 2019 Miss Oceanside Scholarship Pageant, sponsored by the Oceanside Sea Lions will be held on March 30th at 6:00 pm at the James Truax Performing Arts Center, 400 Rancho Del Oro.
Twenty four girls will be competing for Miss Teen Oceanside and Miss Oceanside. The reigning Miss Teen Oceanside is Kayla Ann and Miss Oceanside is Sarah Holloway.
“A Night of Dreams” will start with an contestant opening number, followed by contestants appearing in theme wear and evening gown. The ROTC from El Camino High School will be escorting the contestants.
Entertainment will be performed by the El Camino Dance Team. There will also be an impromptu question on stage for all of the contestants.
All proceeds from the pageant go to scholarships and other Lions charities. Proceeds from the People’s Choice Award will be given to Rady Children’s Hospital for childhood cancer.

Miss Oceanside, Miss Teen Oceanside and their princesses become goodwill ambassadors for the City of Oceanside, the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce, and the Oceanside Sea Lions and appear at various city and community events throughout the year gaining community service hours.

The Oceanside Sea Lions meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm at IHOP on Oceanside Blvd and I-5 in Oceanside.
