Oceanside CA-UPDATE: The San Diego Coroner has released the name of the man found dead in Oceanside Harbor as Greg Dwight Conitz of Julian, California. Original story follows;
The body of a male found floating in Oceanside Harbor, Saturday morning as been identified but next of kin have yet to be notified. The San Diego County Coroner reports that the decedent was a 56 year old, divorced, white male who resided in Julian. On November 22, 2013, the decedent went to stay on his boat which was in a slip at Oceanside Harbor, North. That evening, the decedent went with his friend to local bars and reportedly consumed alcohol. On Saturday the 23rd, another friend found the decedent floating in the water around another’s boat at slip #2. 911 was called and responding Oceanside Police officers extricated him from the water, obviously deceased. As of today, an examination is yet to be performed.
