
Oceanside CA- A fire at the Comfort Suites Marina located at 888 North Coast Highway began about 9:30 a.m., today. According to the desk clerk, the hotel will be shut down at least for tonight. Most of the occupants displaced by the fire were evacuees from fires burning in the region. 87 adults and 22 children are temporarily being relocated while it is determined whether the hotel guests can return to the rooms at a later date . The fire occurred in the south wing of the 3 story building.
Response to the fire included Oceanside Fire, Oceanside Police Department and Camp Pendleton Fire.
