Oceanside CA– On June 18, 2014 at approximately 3:30 p.m. detectives of the Special Enforcement Services unit and officers from the Oceanside Police Department conducted a parole search of the residence of Ernest Napper in the 3800 block of Sherbourne Drive.
Detectives in the SES unit suspected Napper of being in possession of at least two firearms. During a search of Napper’s residence, four firearms were located. Three of the weapons were rifles, one of those had the butt end sawed off. The remaining firearm is a .40 caliber semi-auto firearm stolen in a Oceanside Burglary.
Napper was taken into custody and is facing numerous charges including felon in possession of firearm and possession of stolen property.
