Oceanside CA – Close in parking was as hard to find as a sandy spot on the beach in Oceanside on the fourth but thousands of people enjoyed the sun and waves, on Friday. Rising tide and lack of sand had people packed in, on the beach from Tyson Street, north to the breakwater. Pacific Street was virtually void of vehicles and bike riders took advantage of the open road.
The Oceanside Yacht Club held their annual Yankee Doodle Dinghy Parade. 20 of the 21 entries circled the harbor with their dinghies decked out for Independence Day. Photos below.
