Vista CA– On Sunday October 26, 8:58 p.m., Deputies from the Vista Station responded to 325 W. East Drive, in Vista, to investigate a stabbing. The victim, a 16 year-old boy, said he was walking home after buying dinner when he ran across a boy he knew, who demanded his skateboard.
When the victim refused, an altercation ensued, the victim was stabbed, and the suspect fled. The victim was taken to Palomar Medical Center with a non-life threatening injury. Deputies and a Sheriff’s ASTREA Helicopter searched the area, but were unable to find the suspect. The investigation is on-going.
