Encinitas CA— The Encinitas Historical Society will host a FREE docent-led walking tour of Old Encinitas on Saturday, May 21. Meet at the 1883 Schoolhouse at 10:00 a.m. at 390 West F Street.
Find out how Encinitas became the “Flower Capital;” learn why early settlers came to town in the late 1800s; and see some of Encinitas’ early buildings built by the first “recycler” Miles Kellogg. The tour finishes around noon.
For more information, call docent Barbara Vilardo at (661) 992-5740.
