Carlsbad CA— Mark your calendars for the Carlsbad Lifestyle and Fitness Festival Saturday, July 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Pine Avenue Community Park, 3333 Harding St., featuring a family fitness zone, booths and activities geared toward Carlsbad’s active healthy lifestyle.
Free and open to the public, the event is held the day before the 35th annual Carlsbad Triathlon on Sunday, July 10. Both events are hosted by the City of Carlsbad.
The festival will have nearly 50 vendors offering products and services from meditation and stress management to beauty and nutrition.
Rachael Shay, special events supervisor for the City of Carlsbad, said the Lifestyle and Fitness Festival offers something for everyone. “We emphasize healthy lifestyles for people of all ages,” Shay said.
The event will also include a Family Fitness Zone, with a large “Wipeout” activity, Defender Dome, a Zorb ball and much more. “It’s a fun way for families to stay connected,” Shay said, adding, “fitness doesn’t always have to be in a gym.”
A $6 wristband is required to participate in some of the activities and can be purchased at the event.
