Oceanside CA— Oceanside Public Library is proud to announce the first ever ALL AGES Game Night. Drop in on us in the Civic Center Library Community Rooms on Friday, September 23 between 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. This fun event will be the first in a monthly series where we encourage members of the community of all ages to connect and socialize. These game nights will be held on the last Friday of every month from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Civic Center Library Community Rooms. Every month we will have a different theme, each with game and activity options for all ages and abilities.
This month we are all about Pokemon. Join us for a battle on the Wii as we save as many Pokemon as we can at PokePark. After that, catch ’em all with do-it-yourself Pokeballs, and other Pokemon games and activities. Phones/apps not required. Pokemon not your thing? We will still have a selection of traditional board games and playing cards available, for open-gaming board game play.
This free program is sponsored by the Friends of the Oceanside Public Library. One of the goals of the Oceanside Public Library is to create a welcoming library environment by supporting all ages friendly space throughout the library. Friday Night Unplugged is one program that helps achieve that goal. For more information, please visit the library’s website at http://www.oceansidepubliclibrary.org or call (760) 435-5600.
