SAN MARCOS — The TERI Players will present their adaptation of “A Christmas Carol” at the Bornemann Theatre in San Marcos on Dec. 16 and 17.
The cast features adults with special needs who take part in TERI’s performing arts program, which offers creative training and inclusive stage experience on the organization’s Campus of Life. This year’s production includes both live performance and new filmed elements.
“It gives our actors a chance to shine both live on stage and through filmed segments,” program director Kyle Ramirez said in a TERI news release. The show is also designed to be sensory-friendly so audiences of all abilities can attend comfortably.
Performances begin at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6 p.m. The 200-seat theater is located on the TERI Campus of Life at 555 Deer Springs Road, and attendees can dine beforehand at the onsite Common Grounds Café. Tickets start at $30, and proceeds support TERI’s programs and services.
